The human error is considered as the one of the main causal factors of accidents or incidents in the organizations, and their early identification can help us to prevent serious accidents and disasters. The human factor is one of the most difficult to foresee given the complexity of human nature. However, in the workplace, it is necessary to have tools that allow us to understand and assess the variability in the behavior of workers, both from a cognitive point of view and from the point of view of engineering. In the workshop we will learn from the experience of more than 20 years in the subject of the expositor managed the human error in a world class mining company, through cases that will be solved in group, videos and experiences of the exhibitor as well as the participants to add their  organizations and their professional development.

MIGUEL SANHUEZA SALINAS-CHILE is Specialist in change management, development and organizational behavior, analysis and human error management. Senior Psychologist, head of the area of human factors management, responsible for the design and implementation of the focus of leadership, behavioral safety and learning, as well as the management of preventive tools in a leading company of the large cooper mining worldwide.
He has extensive experience in occupational health and safety risk management in the large cooper mining industry. He has led the design and direction of projects of organizational change and cultural transformation in Occupational Health and Safety.
Speaker at international Mining Safety Conferences. President of the live congress of Mine Safety PREVEMIN, held in 2012 in Chile, member of the Chilean Ergonomics Society.
He participates as a guest professor in the Human and Organizational Factors Program in Risk Management at the University of San Andres, Buenos Aires.
Exhibitor of the first, second and third International Forum on Management of Culture Leadership and Safety Conduct in Peru-2014, Brazil-2016 and Peru 2018.
